We're Ready To Put You On A New Course In Life.

By now, you may have heard a thing or two about a Learn to Ride Course. How it teaches you fundamental riding skills and how it can create life long friendships. And if that's something that interests you, well, you've come to the right place. We're here to guide you through the process of getting ready for the basic rider course.

Here at our store, you’ll gather with others who are also ready to take the first step toward riding. We keep the groups small, no more than 15 – 20 people total, so you’re always able to ask questions and get the answers you need.

Our one (1) hour clinic covers everything from what to expect at the Basic Rider Course to riding gear and the 6 families of Harley-Davidson, and it’s free!

Basic Rider Course Information and Registration

The Basic Rider Course (BRC) was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) as a comprehensive riding program for the beginner rider. The course is comprised of at least 16 hours of instruction, both in classroom and on a motorcycle.

The BRC provides the beginning motorcyclist with the basic mental and physical riding skills necessary to minimize risk on the street.

In the classroom you’ll learn about:

  • Different types of motorcycles
  • How they operate
  • What to wear for comfort and protection
  • How to develop a riding strategy for dealing with traffic and road hazards
  • How alcohol and other drugs can affect your ability to ride safely.

The BRC’s riding exercises cover:

  • Straight-line riding
  • Shifting
  • Braking
  • Cornering and swerving techniques
  • Motorcycle dynamics

Each class is limited to 12 students with 2 Rider Coaches. Learning is a fun, step-by-step process in a secured lot on our user-friendly training motorcycles.

You must check with the BRC Instruction Site to determine what will be provided to you, and what you need to bring.
